Had another GREAT MEAL & they have a NEW bartender named Derek with a super personality & can make a drink..Great addition to a already fantastic place to eat..WE'LL BE BACK!!!
My friend and I went here I cannot remember we ordered but everything was awesome. I know we had something with a fig reduced dressing and it was amazing. Oh yeah we had some fried chicken which was oh my God the best fried chicken. The food was great, the staff was friendly and nice. We got to sit outside because it was the end of summer beginning of fall so it was just nice sunny not too hot not too chilly day. So very elegant restaurant. But it's also casual.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in the capital region. The chef is very talented and they will routinely change the menu to feature seasonal produce. I have never been disappointed.
Next Door Kitchen & Bar is such a gem! My husband and I had stopped in a couple of times for the delicious cocktails and during one of our visits, knew that this place would be great to host a special event... The attention to detail, exquisite food and drinks, ambiance and staff always make for a wonderful experience and this was the perfect selection for our baby shower! Our guests loved the food and drinks just as much as we do and Matt and Chris were great to work with ... we will certainly be back :)
Apps brussell sprouts, crab & ricotta fritters & braised greens all tasted wonderful great flavors. I had the shrimp n grits enjoyed it as if I were in South Carolina the cider doughnut pudding I shared with my wife it was great. Bill was a little high but I'll be back for the fried chicken and Mac n cheese.
